Black Academy

Black Academy is an institution founded by Ryuunosuke to train Plus and Blank in the art of battle.

Admission

The academy trains at the high school to college level. This means that the expected age of an incoming freshman is 16. This is not an enforced age limit however. Anyone who passes the school's Academic and Battle Entrance exams is eligible to be a student. Faculty reserves the right to approve or disapprove candidates regardless of their exam performance.

Academic Entrance Exam

High school freshmen-level skills are a minimum for passing the Academic Entrance Exam. However, the exam also tests for more complex college-level skills. How well an applicant performs on the academic exams determines how many general education courses they will be required to take at Black Academy.

Battle Entrance Exam

The Battle Entrance Exam usually consists of multiple stages testing various different skills. These stages can simple, like staring at your hand for 5 minutes to test for focus. They can also be complex, like fighting someone much stronger than the applicant to test for determination.

Student Organizations

Student Council

Lead by the Student President and Vice President. A group of elected students that act as the student's primary decision making body. Current Members Include:

Student Guard

Lead by the Head of the Guard. A group of applicant-based students that help to keep order in the school.

Student Task Force

Lead by the Task Force Leader. A group of ten elite students that carry out the authority of the Student Council. These students are chosen by the Student Council. Current Members Include:

Student Community

Lead by the Lead Practitioner. A group of application-based students with abilities deemed useful to the well-being of the student body.

Ranking

Every active student receives a number ranking to assess their combat ability. Students' rank is altered through 1v1 Challenge Battles. Challenge Battles must be overseen by a faculty member or someone with the appropriate authority. If a student challenges a person within 5 ranks of them, that person must accept the Challenge Battle. If the person being challenged is more than 5 ranks away from the challenger, accepting is optional.
